About Gustoso's Bakery
Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, Cupcakes & more...
Family Owned & Operated Since 1978
George and Kate Gustoso launched their career in the dessert industry with a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop in Beverly Hills, California in 1972.
In 1978 the couple noticed a Tiffany's Bakery located in a nearby mall that seemed to be doing especially well.
Combining their knowledge gained operating the ice cream shop with George's many years of experience working in the food industry for Crema Corporation, they decided to open their own Tiffany's Bakery franchise in the Beverly Center.
The bakery was an instant hit, and the Gustosos soon sold their Baskin Robbins store to focus on Tiffany's.
They opened a second location in Marina del Rey in 2002, which serves as the location for Tiffany's Bakery today. The Beverly Hills location was open for 31 years before closing in 2009.
Although the national franchise known as Tiffany's Bakeries, Inc. no longer exists, George and Kate's bakery is still going strong.
Today it continues under the Tiffany's Bakery name as a family owned and operated business more than three decades after it opened.
George and Kate Gustoso are proud to have been joined by their three daughters, Sussane, Jennifer, and May (now retired) as well as their grandson Samuel and granddaughter Valeria, making for three generations of Gustoso bakers.
